The main function of the kidneys are to produce hormones, absorb minerals, filter blood, and produce urine. The kidneys have other important functions as well but those are the primary ones.

We can begin would red bell peppers. Red bell peppers are great because they are low in potassium, but are generously packed with vitamin A, C, B6, folic acid, and provides lots of fiber.
They also have antioxidants, which will protect against different types of cancer. Add red peppers to your salads to your tuna or chicken salad and enjoy them because they are very flavoring a bit more dinner regular green peppers.

Now we can get into some fruits that are very good for the kidneys. Most fruits add a little bit of something to all organs of the body, so you may see some of the same fruits that help other organs, such as apples.
An apple a day is a phrase so popular, yet some people still rarely eat them. Nevertheless, they will aid the kidneys very well. Apples help reduce cholesterol, prevent constipation, protect against heart disease.
Cranberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, the whole berry family will definitely give your liver a good jolt of resurgence. Cherries do very well also.
