There is a going back and forth about what is the healthiest things to do, to eat, and to drink. We have young exuberant researchers telling us about new findings, and then we have people on the brink of 103 (years of age that is), tellings us the exact opposite of the new findings or research from the young hotshot. This causes a bit of a quandary. The reality is many people have different things that work for them, and we have to understand that some things work well for others and some things do not work at all for some.

I probably wouldn’t become a religious wine drinker, but if I went out to an event or browsed the store and saw a good bottle, I’d pick it up.

Personally I like to listen to the oldest people in the room who have been doing something for the longest period of time. For instance, “I’ve been drinking a glass of wine for forty years, every day and every night.” I probably wouldn’t become a religious wine drinker, but if I went out to an event or browsed the store and saw a good bottle, I’d pick it up. Another example, “I eat 25 eggs a day,” says the 95 year old, “and I’ve been doing that for 40 years!” While I won’t lead the league in egg consumption, I’d make sure I got in at least 20 a week.

The thing about new research is that the world is constantly changing. Every single day, there is some new synthetic chemical mixture that we use to see on the movies by the evil guys looking to take over the world; and these chemical mixtures are being added to our foods. This is perhaps why different diseases are popping up, and different medicines for the diseases, and when someone says go natural, we think that is only for the strong.

The best health practice is to learn about yourself, your family history, and become conscious of what you consume. Learn about yourself in the matter that you have to know what your tendencies or better known as habits, are. Family history of health is important, if granny and grandpa had this, and mom and dad have it… guess whose next in line? YOU ( you’re such a genius). The only way to avoid being hit next is to sum up what your folks are doing and do a complete opposite.

Some people just love their powdered donut too much to quit, but they don’t enjoy the double chin, flabby arms, basketball in the shirt look, and thighs and buttocks that make the Wiggles cancel their tour. Soda, sugar, wheat, margarine, fried foods, processed meats, and lack of healthy organic nutrients are what is killing America and the world
